Act today to protect one of your largest investments (Your Home). Termite colonies are all around us and it has been determined there can be fifteen colonies in just one acre of land. Termites can destroy your home if you don’t stop them. A.A.P. offers a double punch protection plan for your property: We will provide the best barrier protection around the foundation of your home which keeps them from penetrating their way into the structure. We also provide a bait system around the home which is designed to monitor termite activity; once activity is determined we provide the termites with an insect development inhibitor. This impairs the ability of a termite to molt. Molting is the process by which termites, shed their exoskeleton and form a new one. After ingesting our inhibitor, the termites molting process is impaired and the termite will die. This method has proven to eliminate the colony. But, it takes a commitment from the homeowner and A.A.P. It is a continuous process and must be monitored routinely. Our trained technicians will explain every detail during the inspection and estimate.

Real Estate Inspections
Wood Destroying Insect Report (WDI Report):
Although commonly referred to as a “termite inspection,” WDI stands for “wood-destroying insect,” and a proper WDI inspection looks for evidence of infestation by termites, carpenter ants, wood-devouring beetles, and carpenter bees, as well as evidence of past infestations, damage to wood, or conditions conducive to infestation. (The term WDO, for “wood-destroying organism,” is also sometimes used.)
A properly operating septic system is a vital part of many homes located in rural areas. However, the septic system is often the last thing on the mind of a homeowner until there is a problem with the system. When a home is purchased, the big question is, Will I have trouble with the system after I move into the home?
Unfortunately, there is no absolute way to predict how long a septic system will last or if it will be able to handle an increased load. A septic inspection, however, can yield useful information on the condition of the system as it exists when the system is inspected. While predicting the future with regard to the septic system is not part of any septic inspection, the inspection often uncovers defects in the system which can save the purchaser unexpected expense.
Well Water Testing:
Because water supplied by a public utility is regulated be the EPA and individuals states, consumers of water supplied from a municipality can be quite confident that their water quality meets specific health guidelines. However, very few regulations exist to govern the quality of private well water supplies. Typically, well water is required to be evaluated for microbiological contamination only at the time the well is installed. Some health departments have begun requiring microbiological testing when the property changes ownership as well. During routine operation, however, it is up to the well owner to monitor and ensure the quality of their well water supply. We recommend testing your water at least once a year to ensure the safest drinking water for you and your family.
Bed Bug Detection and Treatment
Arrow American Pest Control technicians are trained to identify these insects using specially trained dogs and expert visual inspections.
Bed bugs are very elusive and love to hide in mattress seams, behind the bed boards and frames, between cracks and crevices of the wall and floor moldings, the area where the carpet meets the wall, within furniture and dresser drawers, and even in curtains. Besides their bites, bed bugs may leave behind tell-tale signs: Their secretions have a particular odor, they may leave dark fecal spots on sheets and their hiding spaces.
K9 Bed Bug Detection:
Bed bug detection is possible because bed bugs have a unique scent, unlike any other insect, and dogs can be trained to find that scent while they hide in cracks and crevices that are nearly impossible to find using conventional means. In fact, studies have shown that scent detection canines are more than 98% accurate in finding bed bugs. We have the most experienced dogs and handler teams in the industry and use the strictest testing and certification standards for our teams!
How can you get rid of Bed Bugs?
The answer is, unfortunately, you do not. But A.A.P does! Our expert technicians are trained to use heat treatments to dispose of the pests in your infected space. Trying to remove the bed bugs by yourself could cause them to contaminate other places in your home or office. You could also increase the infestation in neighboring units – only making the problem more widespread and difficult to get back under control.
A.A.P. offers an ideal way to house, fly bait. Created by pest control professionals, the FlySentry Silos, when used with granular fly baits, eliminates localized fly problems, and is ideal for any location with a fly problem. Its uses are limitless – patios, backyards, restaurants, food stores, barns, stables, riding yards, kennels, wineries, farms to name a few. Simple and effective, FlySentry has no moving parts, requires no electricity, and does not involve any broadcast baiting or pesticide spraying, and is safe to use around children, pets and livestock. We tested this product in our own backyard, in the woods, near our pool while eating Maryland crabs. It works, when installed properly! Give us a call and you too can enjoy life with fewer flies and we now know how disgusting flies really are.
We now offer a gutter protection system. This new product will keep your gutters clean and free from leaves, seeds, pine needles and insects. Clogged gutters provide a breeding ground for insects such as mosquitos. This product has been tested all over the country in all sorts of weather conditions. It offers a 25 year No clog warranty.
A.A.P. has dedicated itself to providing customers with solutions. We know damp, moist areas provide perfect breeding areas. Our goal is to help eliminate these areas from around your home or office. We now offer a de-humidification system designed to remove the humidity in your basement or crawl space. Not only will this help eliminate habitation, it will reduce un-healthy mold and mildew. Mold and mildew will grow where ever moisture is present. Sadly, most times, your furnace is located in the basement or crawl-space. This condition may lead to un-healthy mold and mildew in your conditioned air for you to breath. Please call us for a free inspection and estimate.
